Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 9:00AM to 5:00 PM The Manitoba Agricultural Museum proudly celebrates Manitoba Day!
Come on out and help celebrate Manitoba’s 142nd birthday! There will be several fun activities available, including a horseshoe tournament, relay races, tug of war, and much more! We’ll be hosting a good old fashioned picnic, followed up by homemade ice cream!
Manitoba Day will also mark the GRAND OPENING of our new Community Ties display! This brand new display features the evolution of rural transportation from the early European settlers through to modern day, and how it supported the growth of rural Manitoba. What better way to celebrate Manitoba Day than to come out and see how Manitoba was built!
As well our vast collection of agricultural equipment will be on display, and our pioneer village will be open for your viewing pleasure!
Admission is free for this day only!
The Manitoba Agricultural Museum is located on Highway 34 3 1/2 miles south of Hwy 1.
