Community Ties Work Weekend

On February 11, 2012 the Manitoba Agricultural Museum (MAM) is holding a work weekend in the Community Ties Building in order to have the transportation displays in this building completed by this spring. There is a great deal of work that has been done but more work remains to complete the transportation displays. MAM needs your help in completing this display which tells the story of transport in pioneer Manitoba with original artifacts along with interpretation signage, backdrops and more.  The Manitoba Provincial Governments Department of Culture, Heritage and Tourism is basing the continuation of the Signature Museum grant on completing this project by the spring of 2012.
 
Glen Lennox, Director, took over this project in 2011 and has made significant progress. Glen has a list of the work remaining to be done in order to complete this project.
